Wyoming Snow and Avalanche Workshop
October 26 @ 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
What better place to learn about snow and avalanche issues than Jackson, Wyoming? The Community Snow Observations team was fortunate enough to be able to present at the 2018 editions of the Northwest (Seattle) Snow and Avalanche Workshop and the Bend (Oregon) Snow and Avalanche Workshop. We are very excited in 2019 to have been invited to give a presentation at the Wyoming Snow and Avalanche Workshop! New PhD student on the project, Christina Aragon, will be on hand to talk about citizen science and how the crowd-sourcing of snow depth data dramatically improves the ability of scientists to predict the evolution of high mountain snowpacks!
Come to Jackson and enjoy a great lineup of speakers. These events are fun, informative, and a great way to kick of your snow stoke for the season.
