Gabriel Wolken

Research Scientist, DGGS

Gabriel Wolken holds a joint appointment as a research scientist and manager of the Climate and Cryosphere Hazards Program (CCHP) at the Alaska Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys (DGGS), and a research professor with the Climate Science Center/International Arctic Research Center at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Wolken leads multi-disciplinary investigations of snow, ice, and permafrost, with an emphasis on understanding how these elements of the cryosphere are changing and influencing natural hazards.

This project is a part of the NASA Citizen Science for Earth Systems project.
